Do Not Be Afraid - Say Yes, like Mary!
We will remember them
This week has been all about remembering. We have focused on our own families and also those members of the armed forces who have died in conflict. It has been so lovely to see so many of Year 1 buying poppies and wearing them with pride this week. It has been a reflective week.
'I Trust in Jesus'
In this week’s Gospel, Jesus warns His disciples of difficult times ahead. Our prayers, inspired by the 'Litany of Trust' from the Sisters of Life remind us that even in times of trouble, Jesus is always there for us.
Lest we forget...
Where words fail, music speaks
'There are the saints of every day, the 'hidden' saints, a sort of 'middle class of holiness'... to which we can all belong.' - Pope Francis

Temple of the Holy Spirit
'But He was speaking about the temple of His body. When therefore He was raised from the dead, His disciples remembered that He had said this, and they believed the Scripture and the word that Jesus had spoken.' John 2:21-22

I am so very proud of Year 1 this week. Due to staff illnesses, there have been many times this week where it has just been me and them, and they have risen to the challenge of independence like the stars that they are. So thank-you Year 1 – you have all worked very hard this half term, settling into your new routine brilliantly, and you deserve a lovely half term holiday.
