In RE this week the children continued their focus on Abraham and why God made a covenant with him. This linked beautifully with our mass, in which Father Frank talked to us about what a covenenant is and how to make one.
Well done to our Readers in Mass on Thursday.
Here is what we have been up to this week…
In Maths the children finished their place value unit, before beginning on the addition and subtraction unit.
In English we started writing our "approaching danger narrative" the children have done a wonderful job of building tension and showed great resilience when it came to editing.
In Geography, we imagined we were farmers in Southern Italy. Children learned about crops that are suited to the Mediterranean climate zone and had to plan which crops and livestock they would have in each section of their farm.

At Our Lady's we like to support our parents/carers in Online Safety matters.
Keeping children and young people safe online is one of the biggest challenges facing society today and it is all of our responsibility to ensure that children are educated to make positive, informed choices when they are online.
This month’s online safety guide gives helpful advice about…
What Parents & Educators Need to Know about FC26. This online safety guide explores EA FC 26 – the latest edition of the immensely popular football game. It flags potential risks, including in-game purchases, scams, and exposure to strangers via voice chat.
We hope you find these guides informative and helpful in promoting the positive use of technology to make the online world a better and safer place for us all. Thank you.
