Wednesday Word

Our learning this week…

In English we have been exploring another ‘Lost narrative’ story, making comparisons to our original text and focusing on the structure of the paragraphs as preparation for planning our own stories based on this genre.

In Maths we have been learning to find time durations using a number line method, we have been consolidating our understanding of this method by applying our knowledge to a range of simple one step word problems.

In RE we have been exploring what is means to ‘be a good neighbour’, making links to the story of the Good Samaritan, as an important piece of scripture for Christians to guide them in some ways they can be a good neighbour to others.
