Wednesday Word

Our learning this week…

In English we have started to explore our new class text ‘Into the Forest’, by Anthony Browne. Using illustrations from the lost narrative story, the children were able to make predictions about the plot and characters. We also thought of some effective adjectives and personification to use in sentences to describe the events of the story.

In Maths we have been learning to estimate and tell the time to 5 minutes intervals. The children have been exploring the links between analogue and digital displays of time.

In RE we have been considering the important messages for Christians from the events of Pentecost. We have been exploring ‘The Fruits of the Holy Spirit’, thinking of some ways that Christians might show these qualities in their own lives’.
