"How lucky am I to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard" A.A. Milne
I can’t believe it’s already time to say goodbye — this year has flown by! It’s been such a pleasure getting to know each and every one of you, and I’m incredibly proud of all that you’ve achieved. You’ve all been shining stars, working so hard throughout the year, and I’m truly going to miss having you in Year 4 and I know that you will make a fantastic year 5 class.
This week has been an unforgettable one for Year 4, packed with adventure, achievement, and plenty of fun! On Wednesday, we kicked off the excitement with a fantastic school trip. First, we explored the Sealife Centre, where the students marvelled at the incredible sea creatures. We then made our way to the Lifeboat Station, learning about the brave heroes who keep our shores safe. The circus was a major highlight of the day, with the students watching in awe as motorbikes raced around inside a huge cage! They also enjoyed the antics of Mooky the funny clown, who had everyone in stitches as he hilariously ‘schlipped’ around the stage. After the circus, we visited the Tower Ballroom, where the students were captivated by the beautiful sound of ballroom dance music being played live on the historic Wurlitzer organ. On top of all that, Year 4 won a prestigious music award, which was the cherry on top of an already amazing week. Thursday brought out the talents of our students during the talent show, with performances that impressed us all. And to finish off the week, we had a lively party on Friday, complete with disco dancing, cake, and lots of laughter. What an action-packed, fun-filled week for Year 4!
Have a wonderful summer filled with fun and laughter. Stay safe, and we’ll see you again soon — our new Year 6s!
A big thank you for all your lovely kind words, cards and generous gifts. It has been a great year and it has been a pleasure to teach you all! 🙏😊
