For my eyes have seen your salvation (Luke 2:30)

For my eyes have seen your salvation that you have prepared in the presence of all peoples, a light for revelation to the Gentiles, and for glory to your people Israel.

Luke 2:30-32

Key Messages for Whole School Worship

Key Messages
Children will understand that:

  • Jesus is the promised Saviour of all – the Light of the World.

  • We can see Jesus with eyes of faith through getting to know and growing our friendship with Him.

  • Jesus invites us to spread His light to others through our words and actions.

Wednesday Word

At Our Lady's we like to support our parents/carers in Online Safety matters.

Keeping children and young people safe online is one of the biggest challenges facing society today and it is all of our responsibility to ensure that children are educated to make positive, informed choices when they are online.

This month’s online safety guide gives helpful advice about…

What Parents & Educators Need to Know about TikTok. This free guide explores the potential online safety risks of TikTok, letting you know how to safeguard children and young people who use the platform.

We hope you find these guides informative and helpful in promoting the positive use of technology to make the online world a better and safer place for us all. Thank you.

Our learning this week…

In RE, we have been thought about ways in which Christians understand and live out the messages of Jesus’ parables and how these actions can bring them closer to God.

In English, we have been planning our own story setting narratives, thinking about how we can use a range of adjectives, verbs, adverbs and prepositions to create interest in our writing.

In Maths we have started our new topic on length and measurement. This week we have been finding equivalent measures in mm, cm and m.

Spellings, times tables and homework

The children will be coming home with their spellings and homework on Monday 3rd February , this needs to be returned by Monday 10th February 2025.

Please can you encourage your child to access the TT Rock Stars online, logins have been sent home this week.
