"Ask, listen, believe, follow..."

"Do whatever He tells you.”

John 2:5

Key Messages for Whole School Worship

Children will understand that:

  • Jesus is always ready to listen to us and help us.

  • Mary believed in Jesus and helped others to believe in and listen to Him too.

  • We can act on our belief in Jesus by asking Him for help, listening to His guidance, and following His instructions.

Wednesday Word

At Our Lady's we like to support our parents/carers in Online Safety matters.

Keeping children and young people safe online is one of the biggest challenges facing society today and it is all of our responsibility to ensure that children are educated to make positive, informed choices when they are online.

This month’s online safety guide gives helpful advice about…

10 Top Tips for Safety on Social Media. This guide provides expert advice on helping children and young people to use social media responsibly.

We hope you find this guide informative and helpful in promoting the positive use of technology to make the online world a better and safer place for us all. Thank you.

Our learning this week…

In RE, we have continued our topic ‘Galilee to Jerusalem.’ This week we have explored Christian understanding of ‘The Kingdom of God’, considering ways in which we can live out these messages in our own lives’.

In English, we have been continuing to develop understanding of our new class text ‘Rhythm of the Rain’, We have been researching a range of vocabulary from the text and we have been explaining the effect of description on the reader.

In Maths we have continued to explore multiplication and division. This week we have been multiplying 1-digit numbers by 2-digit numbers, and we have started to use the expanded written method.
