This is really important as this work improves vocabulary and is design to help your child understand types of comprehension questions they will come across in both primary and high school. Ideally, they should be completing 2 a week to ensure improvement.

Spellings:
To begin with, Mrs Bland is going to set all of Year 6 the same spellings. After a few weeks, if I can see that there are some that have mastered the spellings I have been giving and some that need more practice, I will start to set spellings in Groups (Group 1 and 2). Spelling test will be the following Friday.
