Today has been a wonderful European day of languages! We read an extract from Kaytek the Wizard, learned about Maria Skłodowska-Curie and made wycinanki: symmetrical paper cut designs. Fabulous effort!

In English, the children have continued to look at the features of writing, and started planning their “approaching danger” narrative

In Maths, the children have worked on rounding, to the nearest 10, 100 and 1,000

In PE, the children have kept up with their ball skills.

In Geography, the children designed posters to raise awareness of deforestation.

In Spanish, the children revised Spanish phonics to ensure accurate pronunciation in future lessons.

On Wednesday, Mr Bloom from CBeebies came to do an assembly about where food comes from and about milk. Which tied in nicely with our Science this week about teeth!
