This month’s online safety guide gives helpful advice about…

Smartphone Safety Tips for Young People This information guide has tips to help young smartphone owners stay safe while enjoying using their device.

We hope you find these guides informative and helpful in promoting the positive use of technology to make the online world a better and safer place for us all.

Our learning this week…

In English we have been continuing to explore our class text ‘Arthur and the Golden Rope’. This week we have been using a range of expanded noun phrases, prepositions, verbs and adverbs to create our own detailed sentences to describe the story setting.

In Maths we have been growing our knowledge of multiplying and dividing by 7, 9, 11 and 12. We have been investigating a variety of methods and strategies to work out answers to a range of word problems.

In RE this week we have thought about the ways in which Jesus told parables to help people to understand the Good News. We focused in particular on the the parable of the Sower. The children enjoyed making links between the story and the heavenly message for Christians.

Spellings, times tables and homework

The children will be continuing to learn their spellings and tables given out on Monday 29th January 2024, this needs to be returned by Monday 5th February 2024.

The children have all come home with their login for TTRS, please can you support your child to access this on a regular basis.

PE -
