Welcome to Year 3! Wow the children have settled into the classroom beautifully and we have made a great start to our learning.
Mrs Alan started our brand new school year with a lovely assembly, we focused our worship on The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. In Church, this was celebrated on the 15th August, so we had to make sure that we focused on this on our return to school. As you will remember from Year 2, this is a special year, as the Catholic Church celebrates a Jubilee year, where we are all called to participate and be pilgrims of hope. Mary’s assumption points to the ultimate destiny of believers, serving as a powerful symbol of hope in the Catholic journey. The children have drawn some lovely photos of Mary for a special display in the hall.
