"After the Lord Jesus had spoken to them, he was taken up into heaven...." Mark 16:19

This week we celebrated the Feast of the Ascension,

We have been extremely busy with our learning in Year 3 this week. Here’s what we have been up to…

In English, we have been enjoying Egyptology and have written some wonderful secret diaries

In Maths, we have started our time topic, looking at months today. We also started a TTRS “Battle of the Bands” a fun competition where children’s correct answers on TTRS earn them points.

In History, we have investigated how Christianity came to Britain during the Anglo Saxon period.

In PE, we continued the Athletics module, running, jumping and throwing.

In RE, we have been thinking about how the early Church links to how Catholics gather for Mass today.

In Science, we began a few experiments to find out the effects different conditions have on plants.

At Our Lady's we like to support our parents/carers in Online Safety matters.

Keeping children and young people safe online is one of the biggest challenges facing society today and it is all of our responsibility to ensure that children are educated to make positive, informed choices when they are online.

This month’s online safety guide gives helpful advice about…

What Parents and Educators Need to Know about Township This free information guide breaks down the popular online game Township: highlighting some online safety risks and offering tips on how to help children avoid them.

We hope you find this guide informative and helpful in promoting the positive use of technology to make the online world a better and safer place for us all.

We hope you have a lovely weekend,

Mr Bourn and Mrs Dunford
