I am so proud of you Year 1!

Year 1 I am just so proud of you and all your hard work this week. Your little videos and photographs have made me smile this week and really brightened my days. I am really pleased that we will be able to spend our last week of term together and finally have our day at the beach! We will have a lovely last week in school with plenty of time in the fresh air and the chance to celebrate all your hard work over this year.

Thank-you so much parents for all your hard work this week too! I am extremely grateful for all that you have done to support the children, and me, this week. I know it is not easy when you are working too, but we have done it - again! Many thanks.

I am really proud of all the children this week, but special mention must go to these children who have been very busy little bees this week…..

Busy Bees……Stephen, Zachary, Matilda, Martha, Florence, Nevaeh, Emily, William and Laura

(I will send a busy bee certificate through email to you!!)

Martha is the first member of class to reach 40 dojo points!!

We will have our day at the beach! The trip is back on, thanks to the quick thinking and re-booking of Mrs Wilson, all the details and arrangements are the same as they were - just the date change to Thursday 15th July. Fingers crossed the sun will shine on us!

COVID-19-and-your-health.jpg

Please continue to follow all social distancing rules during our last week at school. Masks still must to worn on school grounds and please ensure you keep 2m apart and respect the ones way system coming onto and leaving the yard. If your child is unwell please keep them away from school until they have taken a test, or if anyone in your household is unwell with covid symptoms. We all want to enjoy this this week at school - but safely - without putting anyone at risk. Many thanks.

We will try to be outside in the fresh air as much as we can next week, so please ensure your child has their water bottle with them, a hat/cap and is wearing sun cream.

Please could your child could bring a strong ‘bag for life’ with their name on it on Monday so that Mrs Veasey can start putting together all their books to bring home with them on Friday. Thank-you very much.
