This week has been an exciting week, not only did we have a VIP visitor but we gained a new member to our class.

Our special visitor was the author Dan Worsley who told us all about his new book and then we were privileged to spend the morning developing our writing skills with him as the expert. Just as professional writers do, we did draft after draft, eventually producing a piece of writing we were happy with. In fact  some of us are still working on it! But don’t worry once we are happy we will share our writing with you , so watch this space!

Congratulations to Luke who won our golden award this week and to Tieghan who won the writing award.

Next week is an important week for some of the children in year 6 who have been rehearsing act 1 scene 1 of ‘The Comedy of Errors’, along with other children from years 3 ,4 and 5, to perform with the actual RSC in school on Tuesday! This is such an amazing opportunity, so please buy a ticket and support your peers. Tickets can be purchase from the Grand booking office or on the night of the performance at school. So please do not miss out! Come and see us at 7.00pm on Tuesday 6th November  in the school hall with the world famous RSC!
