We have had a busy day perfecting our maths skills and investigating Pythagoras theorem. Year 6 have used their skills in measuring angles, being accurate in drawing lines of a specific length to investigate Pythagoras's theorem. They also used the bible story of Noah's ark to discover how many animals were aboard the arc when given a specific number of legs. We had to work systematically and consider the classification of animals on-boardwhen deciding where to place them in the arc. We were encourage to think of a formula to express our logic.
We all 'smashed' the count down challenge!
