I'm very happy to say that as part of our space studies from last term, we have the opportunity to visit Jodrell Bank Discovery Centre in Macclesfield, Cheshire on Tuesday 10th February. Our visit will include time at both the planet and space pavilions, entrance to an inflatable planetarium and a Mars Rover workshop.

Due to the distance, the coach is booked to leave school promptly at 8.15am so we would appreciate if the children could all be in school by 8.00am. We will have a picnic lunch at the centre and expect to return to school for 3.30pm. Children are asked to take their packed lunch in a named carrier bag.

The PTA will be making a substantial contribution towards this visit due to high transport costs but we ask for a voluntary contribution from parents of £10. This includes admission, workshop and transport costs. If paying by cheque, please make payable to Our Lady’s School. Please return the permission slip on the letter ASAP. If you haven't received your letter, please ask for another one from me.

The children are very excited about going on this trip and on our return we will share our day with you in the photo gallery!
