Following on from our work on the 1969 Apollo 11 mission to the moon, Year 5 have been taking part in their own top secret space mission to design their own moon buggy. Over the last two weeks the children have worked in small teams to complete a series of challenges and this has resulted in some great work. I have been so impressed at how the children have worked together collaboratively as part of a team to plan, design and make the moon buggy. They have shown great speaking and listening skills and have shown how well they can compromise on which of their ideas to use.

Mission complete Year 5, well done!
