In English, we have produced even more amazing writing, linked in with Macbeth. This week, we have been looking at the relationship between Macbeth and Lady Macbeth (a very complex one, indeed!). Through active approaches and sharing of ideas, we have produced some great letters, written from Macbeth's point of view, to Lady Macbeth. We have done very well at including our writing targets too!

In Maths, we have been looking at lines of symmetry. Although we found this tricky to begin with, we persevered and really started to get the hang of it (with the help of some handy mirrors!). We had to make sure not to fall into the trap of drawing the exact same shape on both sides of the line of symmetry, and instead draw the 'mirror image'.

In History, we started to look at the Ancient Egypt timeline. We looked at how long the Ancient Egyptian era lasted and then places some key events on our own timelines, in our books. We soon realised it was trickier placing dates on a timeline when the dates are BC...the numbers were getting smaller rather than larger!

In Science, we did an investigation to see what happened to some solids when they were heated, and subsequently, when they cooled down. We had to measure temperature, observe changes and record results! Here are some pictures of us mid-investigation...
