Welcome back to our Spring Term!

This week we have been introduced to some new topics, as well as revisiting some learning from before Christmas.

In Maths, we have been dividing with remainders, using a written method. Although this is tricky, we have all tried our best and are really getting the hang of it!

In Science, we were introduced to our new topic 'States of Matter-Solids, Liquids and Gases.' We have shared what we already know about this ready, ready to learn much more this term.

In RE, We are looking at Jesus as 'the teacher'. Our first lessons were centred around Jesus' faith when he was growing up. We have learnt more about the Jewish faith and symbols of this faith. We are going to compare Judaism to Christianity, as we know that are some similarities and some differences.

In English, we are looking at the play Macbeth, written by William Shakespeare. All of Key Stage 2 will be studying this play, and we will be producing some amazing pieces of writing from it too! This week, we acted out the play in 20 minutes. In groups of 4, we were all given a little part of the play and had to act it out, with narration. After we had all acted out our part, we had collectively acted out the entire play. There are some fab actors and actresses in year 4!

Here are some pictures of us, acting out Macbeth...
