Thank you to all the class for yet another great term! It has been jam packed with great learning and all of year 4 have worked so hard! Let's not forget the TWO amazing performances they showcased in their music and dance, this week-what talented children you are!
Only one term left before you continue on your learning journey into year 5!
Next term will also be filled with lots of new and exciting learning. We will continue to build on our mental maths skills and problem solving and I have lots of great writing opportunities lined up, so the children can really show off how far they have come as writers! Here's an idea of what is to come in other areas of the curriculum...
History (Topic)- Viking and Anglo-Saxon struggle for the Kingdom of England
R.E-Belonging to the Church
P.E- As outline in the letter sent home, we will be par-taking in the Fit2Go programme for a six week period. This programme aims to promote a healthy lifestyle, and the children will be doing various sports activities outside. Due to the availability of the staff delivering the P.E lessons, our Monday P.E day will be changed to a TUESDAY.
Thursday P.E will be as usual-outdoor athletics.
Please check the Summer Term curriculum map, on the year 4 homepage, to read about this in more detail.
I hope you all have a lovely half term, and let's hope the weather remains just as lovely!
Thank you again for all your continued support.
