This week has been so productive!

In History we continued with our Diary entries, all about the Viking raids and invasions in Britain. We presented these in our books like the 'lift the flap' style books.

Here's a glimpse of what the look like, so far...

In English, we have been drafting and editing another 'Big Write'. This time it's a non-fiction text. We are writing an article for 'Gadget Magic' magazine, all about this amazing SPEC-tacular glasses-we have to do our best to really sell them to the reader!

In Maths, we have been re-visiting time and looking at converting analogue times to digital times. Today, we were calculating time intervals-we were very good at it!

In Science, we have been very busy! We we looking at the function of a switch in an electrical circuit and why we might use them. We used this learning in our D&T lesson when making our own torches. We were given lots of equipment and materials and the aim was to make a functional torch, with a switch. After designing our torch, with our learning partner, we then got busy making the actual torch.
