Today we have been looking at the importance of Remembrance Day and what it is that we are remembering. We know that it is a very special day for us to think about and pray for those who fought in the wars, and the bravery and selflessness of those soldiers. We also looked at the significance of the poppy and why we wear them today as a symbol of remembrance.

We created our own Remembrance Day posters which have been displayed in the classroom ready for Armistice day tomorrow. We will join the nation in two minutes silence at 11am to reflect and pray for those brave people who died and were injured in the wars.
