This week, I have only set times tables homework.

The class will be tested on their 7x tables on Friday 30th November.

The 7x tables are trickier than other times tables, as there isn’t really any sort of pattern-so make sure you practice them lots at home and just learn them!

Homework has an English and a Maths focus each week. Homework will be set on a Friday to be returned the following Wednesday. Each week the children will be given either one or two pages to complete from their homework book. These pages will be related to what we have been learning that week in class; so the children should be able to complete their work by themselves.

Each week, in will also send home either spellings or times tables to learn/practice. They will be tested on these the following Friday.

Homework is important to develop a sense of independence and organisation.
