It was lovely to welcome the children back this week and to listen to their stories of what they had done over the half term holiday.

We are now just over a week in to the very special time of Lent and this week the children made their very own Lenten promises. We are going to try very hard to make sure we stick to these and show the self-discipline that Jesus showed when he was in the desert.

In Maths this week we have been looking at 2D shapes and right angles. We found the work on angles a little bit tricky at times but we persevered and it paid off! Why don't you spend some time this weekend trying to spot right angles in your house? I would be excited to hear what you have found.

In English we are continuing to look at Macbeth and have started our descriptions of the three witches.

The children's 500 word stories were submitted yesterday - thank you for your entries and the hard work that was put in to them. Fingers crossed we have some winners in our midst!

Award winners this week:

Golden - Reece

Writing - Angelo

Have a lovely weekend!
