We have had an exciting week in Year 3! We were very lucky to have the fabulous 'Travelling by Tuba' visit us on Wednesday. We were treated to a fantastic musical show in the morning and then had our very own workshop with them in the afternoon. It was a great experience and the children absolutely loved it! I will post some pictures from the day at the start of next week.

We have been practicing our carol service every day and the children have worked so hard in their roles. It really will be a lovely performance so we hope you will be able to make it. As mentioned in last weeks blog it is on Wednesday 20th December. The time is 2.30pm and it will be held over at Church.

Next week we are going to make our own robots. I have asked the children to bring in any cardboard boxes they may have at home that they can use to create their robots. I have asked them not to bring in any boxes that are bigger than a shoe box or cereal box as we don't want our robots to be too big! Cardboard tubes would also be handy (I'm sure there will be lots of these going spare with all the presents we are wrapping at the moment!). No toilet roll inner tubes please! The children could also bring in plastic bottles if they wish to use for the arms and legs.

Thank you to all of you who managed to come to our Rock & Fossil Museum - the children were so excited to show you their work and rightly so - they have worked very hard!

There are no spellings this week - we will get back in to our normal routine after Christmas.

Have a lovely weekend.
