It has been a very busy week in school! I would like to start this post by saying a huge well done to the children who behaved so well during our Ofsted inspection - you were a credit to the school and I am immensely proud of you all!

In Maths this week we have started to look at data and how we can present it - in particular bar charts and frequency charts. We had a go at interpreting some bar charts and we were very good at it - next week we are going to have a go at creating our very own bar charts.

We have continued to look at our science fiction story in English - it is called A Tale of Two Robots and the children are enjoying learning about the characters and what science fiction is.

We have started to really get in to the Christmas spirit in Year 3 and the children are really enjoying opening up our advent calendars each day and learning about the Christmas story. The KS2 Carol Service is on the 20th December - we hope you can make it. There will be more details to follow. A big thank you to Liliana and Reece who represented our school so beautifully at the Advent Service on Tuesday.

Our Award winners this week are:

Golden: Caitlyn

Maths: Reuben

Writing: Gabriella

Our Rock and Fossil Museum will be taking place this Thursday after school in the Year 3 classroom. I apologise for the mix up in dates last week!

I hope you have all had a lovely weekend.
