Last week in school we had our European Languages Day. Our class were looking at Germany. We spent a fun afternoon learning about German traditions and music; as well as learning lots of German words and their meanings. We also created our own German flags. Thank you all for the effort the children made with their outfits - I was very impressed!
In Maths we were recapping our number bonds to 10; and then using this knowledge to work out our number bonds to 100. The children continue to challenge themselves in their Maths work which is a joy to see.
The children continue to learn their Forces song in their Music lessons and the effort they are making is clear to see when they perform it. Mrs Bird is super impressed with their hard work and we earned another 'Double Day' in points which we could then change in to house points. Well done Year 3.
In English we are building up to doing our first piece of writing around a seaside setting. We have done lots of work on this since the start of term and I am excited to read their work when it is complete.
