We have had an extremely exciting week, on Monday we had a visit from our favourite author, Dan Worsley, who presented prizes for our work on World Book Day. Leon in our class won the prize for best collaborative writing with his team who created an imaginative piece. Not only that, but Leon won the prize for best book review. Well done!

Today was the start of the 'Sumdog' maths competition and we all worked very hard. At the moment, as a class, we are in first place! So come on year 3; log on to 'Sumdog' and lets keep our place at the top of the leader board!

Today we joined other schools across the country to take part in the RSC BBC live lessons on a number of Shakespeare's plays. We became Henry V army, designed a look for the witches from Macbeth and discovered how a director can change the interpretation of Shakespeare's words.
