Year 3 have had a very busy past few weeks and I am sure that they are ready for a break now half term has arrived.
Over the past few weeks the children dressed up and took part in a fabulous fun day, filled with mathematical problems. Their costumes were amazing and I thank all those who helped them to create their mathematical image for that day!
The children also had a fun, but some what messy day, as geologists investigating rocks and soils at the RSPB Centre at Fairhaven Lake. We were very fortunate to have wonderful weather, the sun shone and the wind blew gentle across the lake, glorious!
On our last day at school, year 3 went to Church to find out first hand about the Sacrament of Baptism . Father was very kind and allowed the children to smell the oil of Chrism and the oil of Catechumen along with taking part in the service. They are now going to make information leaflets to inform parents about baptism and when they are complete you will be able to find them at the back of Church.
I think after all this hard work the children deserve a rest!
