We have had a lovely, short week in Year One. The children have been very reflective during Holy Week and we have enjoyed watching KS2 performing their mesmerizing Easter Assemblies. We have continued our Read Write Inc and I have been really impressed with the childrens hard work over this half term, this has really shone through as they have all made super progress. Please continue to read at home as much as you can to help the children progress further.

In Maths we have been working on position and direction this week. The children have enjoyed being robots and following directions. Please keep practicing this over the holidays - in particular left and right! We learned the hand trick with 'L' for left. We put our position and direction knowledge to the test today with our learning partners!

We hope you have a lovely Easter with your families and friends. I look forward to welcoming you back to school on Wednesday 11th April.
