We have been thinking about how to be a good friend in Year One this week. We discussed not only is it important to be able to talk about how to be a good friend but showing you are a good friend is the most important! We are very lucky to have many people in Year 1 who do have the gift of being a good friend.

This week we have practiced multiplying and dividing! The children had fun painting arrays for the multiplication, most of the paint ended up on the paper so that was fantastic! We did lots of sharing to practice division, the children fascinated me with how much they could remember about division.

Lots of stories have been completed or nearly completed today, the children really tried their best and we certainly have some fantastic authors in the making!

We have had lots of planes and rockets being made which is lovely to see. The children have really enjoyed our topic, like all of the topics this year!
