I would like to start this post by saying a big thank-you to you all for the lovely gift and message from year one, it really touched my heart. Thank-you for signing up to the parents meetings which are next Wednesday 15th November and the following Tuesday 21st November, I look forward to seeing you all!

It has been lovely to see the children back at school this week, we have been busy growing our brains in maths by creating repeating patterns. I wonder if the children can explain what a repeating pattern is? Can you spot any in your local area?

To the children's delight, we have continued our Read Write Ink programme for English this week. So far the children have really enjoyed our learning in RWI and they have been applying their sound knowledge to read books and use expression for different characters!

In RE we have started our new topic 'Mary, Mother of God' the children have done some role play and taken on the challenge to act out Angel Gabriel sending the message to Mary, explaining God has asked her to be the mother of Jesus. The children have also started to make their own Angel Gabriel with colours and ofcourse some glitter!

Have a lovely weekend and I look forward to seeing you next week.
